Ambac Financial Group, Inc.

FGI was hired to design a large-scale environmental project at the New York headquarters of Ambac Financial Group, a financial guarantee holding company located at One World Trade Center. Our creative solutions included original illustrations, signage and wayfinding graphics that support the company’s “One Ambac” brand culture.

We worked closely with Ambac’s leadership team, interior architects and production and installation specialists to develop a holistic environmental design for this unique space of 50,000 square feet, overlooking New York’s financial district. We wanted our ideas to align with the architectural layout, that included reception and lounge areas, small, medium and large conference rooms, private offices and open work spaces, as well as to support Ambac’s transparent style, informal gatherings, collaborative business activities, and the contemporary interior of the office and the OWTC building itself.

Throughout the space is a creative application of Ambac’s brand identity and other distinctive visuals. The centerpiece of the office is a large-scale, 30-foot long graphic illustration, created to convey a dynamic alliance between Ambac’s New York and London offices and the lively spirit of community and collaboration they share. The overall design is professional, welcoming, open and modern and reflects Ambac’s mission, vision and values.
