Campbell Soup Company
In one of the more aggressive shareholder battles in recent years, FGI was hired to work with the Campbell Soup Company, one of the most trusted food and beverage manufacturers and recognized brands in the world, to create and design a campaign of print and digital communications that would promote and support Campbell’s corporate position against activist investor Daniel Loeb, of the NY-based hedge fund Third Point, who was advocating for a transformation of Campbell’s board of directors. At the end of a series of successful communications over several months, the outcome was settled between the two parties.
