New-York Historical Society
The New-York Historical Society, the city’s oldest museum, is fast becoming one of New York’s most sought after venues for corporate, nonprofit and social events. As an institution, the Society is dedicated to presenting exhibitions and fostering research that reveals its dynamic history and influence on the world today. As part of their mission to promote this culturally iconic institution and increase public awareness and visitor attendance, FGI was hired to support NYHS’ in-house communications group and to design a variety of exciting campaigns, environmental graphics and special collateral materials. One such project was a coffee table brochure, titled The Art Of Entertaining, that highlights the grandeur of the space for celebrations and social and business gatherings, as well as the museum’s noteworthy past and present, artworks and collections. Our goal was to create a beautiful, impactful document worthy of the 200+ year old organization and to support the museum’s programs and marketing goals and initiatives.
