UNH Thompson Society
FGI was asked by UNH to reimagine the overall branding for the Thompson Society, a highly-regarded, well-established, member-based association that supports planned gift-giving through wills, trusts, life income funds, life insurance gifts and more. From our ongoing creative partnership with UNH, we understand the enduring impact of legacy gift-giving – how meaningful it is to UNH’s campus life, hands-on teaching and learning, research, and work and academic experiences that bring together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and private and public partners, in ways that create life-changing opportunities for so many – both locally and widespread – now and for generations to come.
It all began with Benjamin Thompson, a local Durham farmer, who upon his death in 1890 bequeathed a large portion of his estate and fortune to the State of New Hampshire for establishing an agricultural school. It was important that the identity, branding, fundraising brochure and inserts reflect the value of the Thompson Society to those that participate and those that benefit from this form of philanthropy, support UNH’s culture, history and leadership as a 155-year-old educational beacon, and inform the potential donor on how to make a planned gift that will have a significant impact on the University’s todays and tomorrows.
